JP Group was formed by Joh Pena based on a passion for real estate and development. Mr. Pena started in the Real Estate business when he bought his first home at the age of 22 years old in 1996 in Los Angeles County, California. Mr. Pena then became to be a licensed California Real Estate agent several years after and started purchasing residential properties for the purpose of rehabbing and reselling. Under John Pena’s leadership and vision, JP Group has accumulated multiple multifamily, office and retail commercial properties. The JP Group is a full-service team providing every aspect of development from architecture, construction, and interior design. Most recent project Mr. Pena has acquired is the Masonic Temple which is a historical property that was built in 1909 in Downtown Pomona.  Mr. Pena has brought his experience of working with the Historic Committee to preserve the building’s exterior design and giving the building a facelift, which includes a restaurant, event center on the 1st floor and building out 30 residential units.

 

Hospitality & Entertainment

Based in Pomona, California, JP Group  is an industry leading dining, hospitality and entertainment management company. JP Group specializes in creating and developing vibrant, design-oriented, high-concept venues along with all aspects of day-to-day restaurant and hospitality management. As a full service firm, JP Group services range from conceptualization and planning, design, build-out, operations, marketing and promotions. Collectively, our management team has more than 30 years of experience launching and operating restaurants and nightclubs that include. Vive Lounge, Rock n Saddle, SkyFox Lounge, Carnaval, Papa Tacos, Oceana Mariscos and Rawken Sushi.

Beyond the scope of venues, JP Group began as a grassroots promotional company in the Los Angeles club scene, growing to create high profile events in Mexico, Las Vegas, Hollywood and more. Including but not limited to The Colombian Festival of Pico Rivera, the largest festival of its kind on the west coast, the M3Festival, a music and arts festival held yearly in the streets of Downtown Pomona and Respect in the Cage, A professional MMA organization. (JP Group is currently bonded and licensed to hold professional MMA, Boxing, Kick boxing and muy thai matches.)
